Is 13 too old to make it as a footballer?

Hello. I am 13 years old and I am a football fanatic. I would like to know is 13 too old to make it as professional footballer? I don't play for a football club at the moment but I believe that I am good enough player. I had a short spell with one of the best amateur club's in the country (Ireland) and I was in a football academy at a young age. I play passionate football when I play but get very nervous. I hope to join a new club over the summer.
