Is it possible to control ghosts on sims 3? 10 POINTS!!!?

So, the father of my new family just drowned, and the grime reaper game and like, took him. He isnt in my family on the side anymore, and all there is left of him is a grave. I was just wondering if there was any way to control him now, even though it seems impossible. I know people have controled ghost sims before, but how can i? It seems like he is just completely gone. How can i contol him now? thanks. =)
