2003 2.3l ford ranger that sometimes has starting and stalling problems?

An auto parts store employee tested the battery, alternator, and starter, all were fine. Usually it stalls after a brief stop at a sign, etc. Then when I try to start it, it makes a sound as if it is starting then it dies. Not the typical struggling starter cranking sound but more of a woosh.
