I feel like I'm not going to fit in at prom?

My prom is on Thursay and I'm a bit nervous because the dress I'm wearing, for one, is knee length. Another reason is because it isn't made out of the typical "prom dress" material (I don't know what it's called, but lots of prom dresses are made out of it... ), its made out of chiffon. It's a bubble hem dress and it is a peacock blue colour. I feel like I'm not going to fit in because everyone else will have all there hair done really professionally and have big "princess" dresses, whereas I'm going for a few loose curles, because I have really long hair. I don't know if I'm being stupid but everyone else is going to look quite "princessy" and I'm going to look quite... I don't know, just, "formal" I suppose :/
