What can I do for the summer that will give me new experiences/life experience?

I'm entering my sophomore year of college in the fall. For the summer, I have been unable to get a job or internship. I was wondering if anyone had ideas for some program or any opportunity that I can pursue that is worth experiencing. I am looking to try new things, broaden my horizons, and learn more about myself through self-exploration and just getting out of my normal, typical life. Ideally, I am looking for something that offers housing opportunities, as well. Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks!
