I hate having School Spirit...advice?

Well the university im going to is very big on school spirit always having to cheer and do the school's hand sign...and wearing the colors and everyone there on visitation day was so excited and i mean im excited about starting to college but i don't want to have School Spirit i could care less about the sport teams and stuff like that i just want to go there get a nice education and have fun...that's all i don't want to cheer for anything...because i simply do not care...i never had school spirit at my high school either...never went to a single football game or cheered for anything up there...so how can i deal with everyone around me being complete jocks and sports fanatics and all the people that just are addicted to having school spirit...i feel like a fresh-water fish thrown into salt water..
